Weather conditions in Kuala Lumpur:
- You can visit Kuala Lumpur anytime round the year as it has no cold and chilly winter.
- The rainy season is not very heavy and no thunderstorm for the whole day.
Visa, Passport and tickets:
- You must have all the necessities for visiting country concerning visa and passport and make sure you have submitted an application for it in advance of your exit dates.
- You must take your tickets, visa and passport on the day of travel.
- The validity of Visa and Passport should be confirmed before.
- If you lose your visa or passport, you should immediately contact the embassy.
- As you receive tickets, check all the details and flight information written on that.
Packing:
- Check the climate conditions of that country you are traveling to, before you go there.
- Wear loose and light summer clothing when you are going outside as you might be sweating.
- To avoid hurry and rushing, pack your luggage one night before going.
- Instead of folding the clothes, roll them to reduce creases.
- Try to have travel size packing of everything, you feel compulsory to bring with you.
Safety and security:
- In case of any unexpected circumstance, you can contact to the country’s Tourist Police Unit for help; you are traveling to.
- Be aware of local mugger who can deceive you into emptying your pockets at tourist’s spots.
- Put a band for security around your luggage.

- Always keep some additional foreign currency with you in advance because your flight timings might be strange.

Health:
- Kuala Lumpur medical facilities are among the South East Asia’s best with well qualified English speaking doctors.
- Immunizations and inoculations should be taken in advance according to the destination country’s atmosphere.
- You should also be aware of it that some vaccinations need to be taken 4-6 weeks before travel. Try to keep all the medicines, you are using with you. And also keep the consultant reports of your health in case of some emergency over there.
- Always keep some additional medicines with you in case you get delayed abroad.
Etiquette in Kuala Lumpur:
- Take off shoes when entering homes and places of worship.
- You should be in suitable attire while visiting religious sites. Long pants and long skirts are acceptable.
- Dress smartly in proper outfit which covers arms and legs when going places of worship.
- In Kuala Lumpur tipping is not a custom; however you can give it according to your own will.
- Do not serve liquor or pork to a Muslim.
Language:
- Here official language is Bahasa Malaysia.
- But English, Tamil, Chinese and Thai is also spoken there.
On board
- Drink plenty of water at the time on the aircraft as this helps to keep you safe from dehydration.
- Check in flight journal, for mild exercises to do on board to avoid rigidity and tiredness of joints.
- Moisturize skin regularly on board again to avoid dehydration.
- Don’t eat too much on board for easy digestion.
On Airport
- Try to leave time before for checking in at the airport.
- Always reconfirm your flights before setting out for the airport.
- Check with the airline you are traveling with, as to the availability of telephone and laptop power points on board.
- Check timetables for public transport in advance to ensure you arrive at the airport in plenty of time.
- Wherever possible use only metered taxis around the airport.
